LINk (Local Involvement Network)
The LINk is a network of groups and individuals that have been
set up to make sure that health and social care services are
planned and delivered to meet the needs of the people that use
them. The Stockport LINk provides an opportunity for the whole
local community to say what they think, to raise issues and to
question those that run services. Any individual, voluntary or
community group can get involved and influence the work of the
LINk, which itself has been given powers to help them carry out
their role. The LINk is supported by a host organisation (Pebble
Enterprises) to help them work and develop.
