Shopmobility Stockport
Our service exists to help anyone with mobility problems,
whether they are permanent or temporary. Today with shopping malls
and pedestrianised areas it is becoming increasingly difficult for
people with mobility impairment to access these areas. Shopmobility
lends manual wheelchairs, powered wheelchairs and powered scooters,
as well as sighted guides, to its disabled members to enable them
to shop anywhere and visit leisure and commercial facilities in
Stockport. Manual wheelchairs may also be hired long-term and
training can be provided to private scooter owners for the Scooter
User Proficiency Award.
